Hi BP,

What a platform this is!

Does anyone have any advice on generating leads? Namely on the lender side...

I'm an underwriter turned loan originator and I'm already starting to miss the comfort of my computer...I''ve expended family + friends, dabbled on social media...

Any advice is super appreciated :)

Houston Realtor here!

Honestly, getting leads on the lender side starts with agents referring you! Host lunch and learns with local agents. Send a mass invite to them and invite them to come and learn about the lending side that you offer!  Provide sandwiches, snacks, and drinks, or if you can, a sit down lunch. Or maybe do a happy hour somewhere and offer snacks while they purchase alcohol!

Topics to discuss:

- Market YOU!  Having a list or graph or something to show how well you do what you do is good.

-What grants and loans do you work with and have an expertise in?

- What trends in the market are you predicting and how you are prepared to handle it.

Maybe even offer a chance to join your lead generation for new clients that don't have an agent yet. " If you help me by referring me to your clients that need a LO, I will refer you to clients that come to me that don't have an agent yet!"

Other options for lead generation:

- Attending Title Company and Real Estate Brokerage Luncheons. (Go and introduce yourself to them and ask to be included in email invitations for such networking events)

- Attend open houses and make conversation with the agents and the customers that don't have agents as well!

- Instagram and Facebook ads.

Hope this helps! Good Luck!
