I'm new to BP and the US market in general and at present focusing on buying some homes in the Columbus market.Planning to fly up there on the 24th of August (or so) and staying for 3 days at this stage.Is there anyone that is really experienced in the Columbus market that would be able to spare a couple of hours to discuss the market and teach me some things? 

I recieved a call from them asking $8000 to help teach and educate me on how to make and finish off deals.

You are definitely doing all the right things to learn to flip homes successfully, but most importantly you are teaching your daughter well.

No offense to my fellow brokers but my experience is that those who can't very well.......teach.  

Certainly I am not looking for someone to teach me out of the goodness of their heart, so I am positioning myself as an intern of sorts- someone who will work in exchange for experience to create what I hope will be a win-win for both parties.Let's stay in touch- would love to have another NJ newb to share experiences with!

I've been reading and doing research but there is nothing quite like a mentor that can teach me.

We have found guys That start out by saying "I'm worth 1.3 mil in rentals in 3 years" then teaches how he put x amount down, borrowed the rest.  

She told me that this was not the reason to go to school and that they didn't teach that.

I am looking for a partner who is willing to take an intelligent, motivated, and hard-working student under his/her wing and teach me the ropes!

My ultimate goals are to build huge wealth so I will be able to spend time with my family as I get going creating it, enjoy the creative side of design and tinkering with well engineered things, and teaching!
