Hey everyone!
Long time lurker, brand new poster.
A little about myself:
I graduated from Michigan State University in the spring of 2016 with a degree in Supply Chain Management. I got a job in procurement and moved out to beautiful Fort Collins. I am looking at getting into the business now that I am more established.
I unfortunately don't have much to offer as far as experience or capital, but I continue to grow in both areas every day. I am looking for a partner who is willing to take an intelligent, motivated, and hard-working student under his/her wing and teach me the ropes!
My goal is to buy my first property on my own by age 24, (I am 22 now). I am very interested in buy and hold, and also flipping.
If you are in the area around Fort Collins and would like to work with some energetic new talent, as well as make a new friend, please feel free to contact me!
Josh Dorkin, I'm looking at you!! Denver is only a short drive away :D

Well the reason you're at BP is to learn those things now so you can start when it really makes sense for you. Mentors are hard to come across admittedly, but can be found. It's something you'll need to begin by meeting those folks at meetups and building relationships first. You don't always need that person, but having a few people to fill the gaps can be helpful.
You're one of the lucky folks who doesn't particularly have to raise a mass amount of capital. Reasonably at 22 if you play things right you could own 10 properties by the time you're 33/34. Most can be low down payments and your actual ROI will be much greater than those who are investing with 20%+ down. All you have to do is move from one property to the next. Simple in theory and if executed well can be a fantastic way to build a portfolio. At some point you'll just hit a wall with researching and you'll just need to make the first step.
