My problem with the club was that they seemed to encourage an air of privacy so it was hard to get others to share their knowledge or do any business.

In our small town, there are no RE offices but the nearest ones are 400 air miles away in Anchorage.

I separated from Active Duty Air Force last summer to expand my real estate investing and pursue some other opportunities.

For example, if a new central air system was installed into a house that had no central air before and the work is not permitted - the AC may work fine, but the title of the house won't reflect that the house has this great new feature.

They are just north of 8 mile which is South Warren and the border of North Detroit (very bad neighborhoods and crime) but is generally an ok neighborhood.The other reason is that the actually use the house to run their business rather than renting a commercial unit because it's cheaper.In fact these same tenants split the cost to add a central air conditioner because it's been so hot here this summer.

These are all relatively inexpensive or in some cases free:-New pulls on kitchen cabinets/drawers-Pressure wash driveway and any decks (or really anything that could use it)-New mailbox-Fresh mulch/plants-Spray and/or plug-in air fresheners throughout the house for a fresh smell-If property is not vacant, keep free of clutter - put EVERYTHING away and make the rooms feel big-Replace light bulbs in darker rooms with higher wattage bulbs to brighten them-Fresh paint on trim and window/door casings-Update door knobs and hinges if outdated-Clean all windows inside and out

You could also let the air testing company know where the moisture came in and where you did the remediation.

There might be a home buying course offered by your base's family readiness center or non-Air Force equivalent.

A lot of events are up in the air and I must pay attention to be aware of any events derails this path.
