I bought my first investment property for vacation rental and i have a question about some locking systems.I've been thinking about putting remote controlled locks on the doors of my property, so i can monitor the locks from home and send out temperary access codes to the clients i rent out to.Does anyone have any experience with these systems and does anyone know a good reliable brand for these kinds of locks.The reason i want to go this route is because i am looking for another solution than a property manager and to have more control over my property.

If you want the multi member LLC because you are unsure if you could be contested in a single member LLC, then find a trusted friend and give them a nominal amount (5% or less) of the LLC (or even approach an investor for this type of request.)I definitely wouldn't go the route you suggested in this approach.

I will tell you I didn't end up needing to go that route as I purchased my final home before ETS but the research holds true.Commercial Multi-family properties don't look at your income and instead look at the properties income so you are in the clear, plus your holding a rental duplex even shows experience.
