Hello,So the inspection report came back with these red flags, the offer for the house was 300k, then i asked for 25k reduction and they take care of all the hazardous stuff but they said ok for 25k but you take care of everything.Anyone know how would approximate be to:1) put chimney flue2)do knob and tube rewireing (i heard it will be costly around 30k)3) change furnace4)pluming and asbestos (not sure if I should do anything for the asbestor)any help will be much

Heather I cannot say what it would cost as I am unsure of your property details and Tampa market although in FL is a different submarket, but to give you an idea I have a 3k sqft house a half mile from the intracoastal valued at about $1.1M and I was paying almost $8k for STR compliant Hazard with wind.

In that case, I might cash out now, since you probably have a low tax liability, and then find turn key out of state properties with good growth potential and more landlord friendly, than CA.
