I'm a little unclear on the question.An HOA should have an insurance policy package that covers the general building, common areas, general liability, directors & officers coverage, worker's comp, and a mix of other things like non-hired auto and perhaps region specific things like flood or earthquake coverage.

Getting them from online providers will not be a great deal but still a decent deal can be found there and when dealing direct you can get much better deals the higher up the food chain.

This all depends on the location of the property, access to utilities and the surrounding area.The first step is to determine the highest and best use of the property based on the surrounding demographics and property types.Once you determine the highest and best use you then need to put the project package together including plan specifications cost estimates etc. a complete deal deck before you start shopping lenders.
