Is it normal for a lender to charge a fee of $1,450 prior to releasing the money to me the borrower? 

Is there another platform out there that would let me get around this hurdle?

@Mike Morawski if you're referring to a traditional virtual assistant (which is someone you hire who works remotely to help manage tasks for you), I don't have any specific individuals I'd recommend, but I have had luck with platforms like Upwork in the past.That being said, I think you'll find that property management software may get the same job done more consistently and for less.
