I have been reading books on the subject and plan on attending a seminar in the near future.My question :  Does anyone have experience with renting in Westminster MD ( more specifically SFH) ?

There are soooo many variations that it takes writing a book to explain them all.

Open to explore out-of-state investing (learnings so far have been theoretical from David Greene's book) once comfortable enough in the REI scene.I hope to get more connected to the community and learn from everyone!

Otherwise, there are so many ways to slice the real estate pie that it's just too easy to get distracted by next thing (short sales, lease options, pre-foreclosure, etc.)As far as connecting with other investors, you can do so here on BP of course, and you can also check out local groups such as Black Diamond REI in Massachusetts or RIREIG in Rhode Island.Also check out the BP Ultimate Beginners Guide especially the sections on networking, finding mentors, etc.
