Hello guys, thanks for your replies.I agree with all the comments regarding residential lots, but my concern was more with actual US (or foreign) investors who may not be thinking of Mexico, but only because it didn't cross their mind.

at least in BC when I was there that was correct.. but I had to pay 25% cap gain as a foreigner and I thought investors had to pay that.. but if there is no recapture then the 25% cap gain is a real bonus.. you only pay if you have a gain..
