Is it illegal for me to go into REI if I am not a citizen yet? I have heard so many horror stories of people losing their down payment etc etc because they are not citizens yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you're legal to be here than it's a state thing more often than not, or where your money comes from and how. AML and Foreign Entity regulations

AML is anti money laundering. Every capital raiser has to be aware of these regs.
