Good for the environment, cheaper.

I have people in my environment who took out loans with much lower interest rates, therefor I was looking for lower ones too.

Too many fish in the pond chasing the same bait drives up price. 

I don't see a path in my current environment.  

It may be challenging to get someone to help make you a competitor in an extremely competitive environment where inventory is lean and people are less inclined to sell at a discount.

I like to think I thrive in work environments where I am independent and am motivated to work hard in a way that directly benefits me, not just my employer.

Hi all,Given that we're in an rising interest rate environment, I think an additional value that we can extract when we sell investment properties to other investors is to assign our existing mortgage to someone else.

(I imagine that this question might be more generally interesting to people here given that so many people are likely in an environment in which it's no longer realistic to break even or cash-flow positive in so many markets). 

But, even if not, the terms are pretty good in this environment (assuming you're with a Non QM Lender and the process was reasonably easy). 1% isn't high.
