Wholesaling Newbie in Denver

Hi, my name is Cody and I'm currently living in Denver and attending college here, I've been reading through all of the bigger pockets books, taking many notes and have become extremely interested in the world of real estate investing. For a long time I really didn't know where to start but think I should go the route most real estate investors start on, as a wholesaler. If anyone on here who's done this before can get in contact with me maybe even someone living in Denver as well, I would greatly appreciate the help. I would like to get a kind of walk through of the entire process? What contracts are involved? what methods are used for finding leads? Best ways to contact sellers? Best ways of finding buyers? and if the Denver market is a good place to start wholesaling? I've also heard of virtual wholesaling or doing the entire process online from anywhere in the country? Is this method legit? I'm really just looking for someone with experience that I could ask questions to as I try to go through this process, a digital mentor. With the amount of money involved in real estate, I do find this a little intimidating but from what I've read real estate wholesaling has little cash risk.
