We tried to stay overnight while we were cleaning initially, and ended up getting a hotel instead as our lungs felt like we smoked 2 packs of cigarettes after several hours in the home, even though the lady had quit smoking months before.  

I also have a clause that requires them to gain prior permission from us before anyone can stay overnight.  

There are people with very rural properties here, with even just camping areas on their property, who do well on AirBnB.

After almost 20 years at this game my feeling is the rules have all just been changed overnight and what we knew and trusted as landlord tenant law has been erased and we are living on a new planet.

I'm not in the camp of believing there will be a big price drop.
