They notified me that also the thermostat is broken and they aren't able to set it to a reasonable temperature, this is not good since as the landlord I need to keep the heat at a certain temperature (Right now in Maine temps are in single digits).

I grew up in Alaska and I never used them all that much, but I also know Alaska gets some occasional heat waves in the summer.

So I basically squashed it and don't really remember what all was said but it wasn't heated in the least.

Otherwise a heated pool is a wonderful idea in my markets. 

During home inspection while purchasing this property, the HVAC unit tested fine for heating in Feb this year.Any suggestions as to how do I process this request?

Due to the recent summer heat, our HOA is trying to get a couple units together to bulk buy and upgrade the individual AC units for each condo unit owners.

Then you could charge a heating surcharge and you would have proof they are using additional heating devices.

There is a wood fired heat exchanger and an electrical pump to circulate the water. 

In my market a 2 bedroom with an indoor heated pool can beat a 4 bedroom all day long.
