It went south real quick.I was out of the country for a few months at the time, and I happened to enquire, "how is such and such property doing".......I was due home about two weeks later.Essentially she was in the process of evicting these tenants, who had been there 4 months, had no power for 2 months, the place was utterly wrecked, and in the Florida summer heat - they left the dead fridge full of food.Once she had them out, she saw the devestation. $500 4 month old fridge was so alive it practically walked itself to the right of way.

i would like to get to a point where I can buy distressed properties and rehab them to be as close to net zero as I can make them.I rehabbed some with a family member a few years ago and really found it to be dirty and utterly enjoyable :).

I also didn't particularly like the feeling of what felt like the mighty hand of government suddenly having a complete and utter right to enter my property without my knowledge as they administered the program.
