@Tony AngelosFire damage is not an easy thing to bid for even for experienced contractors who specialize in restoration like myself.

I would never suggest someone's property needs to be restored to former glory.  

My current role is IT focused, In previous lives I was a carpenter, carpet installer, flood and fire restoration, long haul truck driver, waiter, garbage man, bus boy, and just about every other job you can think of.

I like physical work, I like creative or restorative processes, and I love learning new and super practical skills.

And I cannot restore a two handle tub faucet I must do one handle so if you have spare tile, hang on to it. 

TSP walls, prime with killz (they actually have a water based product now called Restorer that I’ll be trying soon, so much nicer than oil based and my friend who owns a restoration co suggested it), paint.

It's unclear whether the majority of these kitchen appliances are "new".I came across a place here in town that sells restored/used appliances.A lot of their inventory is slightly damaged/ dented, but there were some beautiful fridges, dishwashers, ranges that looked brand new.

Although this is great news as  they weren't the easiest people to deal with, there is a lot of work to be done to restore the first floor, and rent out at market rates.I am located in Clifton NJ, and have come onto the BP forum seeking help.

And more specifically has anyone dealt with Capital Restoration Services in the Albany region for performing the restoration work? 

I believed the costs associated with restoring the property to a sellable condition, rather than being deductible anywhere, would instead add to the property's cost basis.
