Psychology, risk tolerance and self-discipline are involved. 

When I was in middle school I was really into psychology and why people act how they act.

I think I'm having trouble separating the two.Generally if anyone has any thoughts that might help me to psychologically move on, I'd appreciate it. 

I'm currently in college at the University of Akron for psychology and I will be graduating this upcoming May (2021).

The psychology of having paid off properties is different...that will vary by investor and is a personal decision.  

Use your psychology background.

If a property owner is unable to manage this lower-priced, less professional contractor and communicate effectively with him/her, then the total cost (financial, emotional, psychological, lost time due to inefficiency, etc.) of the project can be astronomical.

Also, from a psychological perspective, I believe not having cash burning hole in pocket is better vs. having a line that is no different than a credit card.  

Understanding the seller psychology and motivation is important if you want to get the deal done.
