I think too, in Texas you have counties larger than some states, so I don't mean that an entire county might be eligible as they can draw lines that fit the perceived need to accomplish their purpose. :)

It appears state of Oregon has no closed that loop hole.As well as its kind of Moot here.. are market is SO robust that most sellers on a distressed asset or anything perceived to be under market give you 5 to 10 days to close want big EM and POF with your offer.... there are still the uneducated that get scammed and their always will..

@Holly Yankus When you and your husband bought the duplex as a primary residence, you made a legal commitment (you actually sign a document, go back and look through the closing docs) that you will owner occupy the property for at least 12 months.All I am hearing is you complaining about lenders/agencies not understanding your perceived need.
