Most people renovating typically don't even interact with board members when renovating, you should be speaking with the management company about all this. 

If you got your license, you would have traIning through your brokerage and others you interacted with on a daily basis.  

B" Tenant = Decent Credit, Pays on time most of the time, doesn't completely destroy the house"C" Tenant = Bumpy Credit, When rent is due you're biting your nails wondering if the payment is coming, you have to occasionally keep them in line and they require more interaction"D" Tenant = No thanks......

You can consider requesting during the board meetings that all interactions going forward are done via some sort of electronic communication, but at this point the HOA is asking you assume the role of the property manager.
