Peeling paint, ripped screens, bad roof, broken windows, damaged siding, wood rot, chimney falling down, etc. are all things (and more) that they will cite you on.Personally, actually living in Milwaukee, I prefer rental properties to be held to a standard of decency because I don't want rentals dragging down the neighborhood.

I bank with BofA simply because of their convenience and Chase had some pretty sketchy practices with taking money out of my accounts for fake over-drafts that they caused.

I have been going out looking at properties for a long time in order to start a real estate portfolio, I am what is called a lookie lou ,cause I haven't closed on anything , i have come close on one property ,went as far as an inspection which cost upwards of 500 dollars, it was a 4unit, and my r.e. agent has no get up and go,I give her addresses to view and no appointments are made.

Think about it for a min, If you miss a month cause you want more rent that's $800 which you make up in a year buy taking lower rent but getting that extra month.
