Probably yours - but I would cover my butt with a certified letter mailed to the prior owner and wholesaler both with a reasonable time limit.

being owner occ you have usary to worry about and limits on late payment charges etc.. and I think in CA you need some Balloon payment language if this is a balloon payment note..
