You might try Craig's List or check with a large commercial flooring supplier / installer that does offices and commercial jobs to see if they have any leftover lots from a large project.

I don't really care what kinds of pets a tenant has because the laminate flooring I use has a 50 year warranty, is only 0.89/sqft, and I can install a whole floor of the stuff myself in half a day.

A condo that hasn't been upgraded since it was built in 1979 but is identical in every other way to one that has just been rehabbed with quartz counters, shaker cabinets, new black stainless appliances, imported tile floors, recessed lighting, fancy backsplashes, etc will show a much different $/sq ft.
