Hello, I too am trying to find financing for a mixed use commercial property (4 store fronts and 8 apartments) in OH.  

If you want a good contractor don't wait at a big box store, you're just hoping to get lucky.

-you need to make the stock/units tough/reliable/nice at the same time (tough and reliable means less maintenance headaches later down the road)-you need to standardize your units (paint/faucets/vanity/cabinets/etc etc)-you need to have contacts with all major new/used appliances stores/dealers in the area-the way to a woman's heart is nice bathrooms and kitchens!

To share a little more about myself, I'm 21 years old and I work at a nutrition store in San Antonio called Pureline Nutrition.

I really like areas that have downtowns with retail stores on bottom and apt units up top.

My name and also the name of the person that has been an owner in the building the longest.I recently printed off the past 6 months of bank statements and went through the charges line by line.Pizza, groceries, food delivery, gas stations, Wal-Mart, ATM cash withdrawals, liquor stores, more liquor stores, and a sex toy store.As soon as I found this, I knocked on the suspect's door and told him that I "found some charges on the account that don't seem legit, the association debit card might be compromised."

It's helpful to look through discount stores to get an eye for prices and to see what's available, but don't forget about online sources such as Craigslist or OfferUp.
