I would love to join a real estate company if possible given my experience in property management and acquisition.

I joined about a month ago looking for the good word on tax lien certificates in Baltimore, MD, and I am finally getting around to introducing myself.My name is Andy, and I am from the Baltimore area.

I joined a local REIA group a few months back, and have been working for a local landlord, which has opened up my eyes to the up and downs of owning rental property.

I just joined Bigger Pockets in the last week as getting into this real estate thing hopefully in the next 6 months so right there with you with the plethora of knowledge and the many opportunities.

BryanL;I gotcha.finding the deals that you can "add value" to.this would work if you are doing a buy and flip, i assume not so much for people who Wholesale houses.Good point about not joining in the rush of overpriced offers when a hot new listing hits..

I recently joined New Wealth Advisors Club, as they had the signs posted "Real Estate Investors Seek Students".

I'm going to concentrate on the first, but if you want more on the others I will add later.Biz owners: Join your local chamber of commerce.Why the chamber: A) your target market is there:  when u join you get a membership book that is a list of all your target marketB) Chamber members take other chamber member calls:  you have built in credibility with your other members and let's admit it, raising capital is all about credibility.C) At least once a month, Your local chamber will provide you with networking opportunities designed for nothing else but putting you in front of your target market in a nice, easygoing, relationship building scenario.  

I've really learned a lot in the week since I've joined and I like that you don't talk over the person you're interviewing.
