New in CA, and Ohio

I am just joining the biggerpockets forum. I live in CA, will begin investing in a rental property in OH with my partner in the next few weeks.

Plan now is to buy the first property outright, improve and rent it out, and use that property as collateral to buy the next property, while we learn as much as we can from this forum and those who have done it before.

Happy to make any connections and help anyone however I can. The information on this site has already helped me tremendously.

I am also in Ohio. I live East of Cleveland. You did not mention which area of Ohio that you are investing in? I am also an agent. I currently have some rentals in suburbs of Cleveland, Lake county and 1 in Summit. Also have a fix and flip going right now. Just put in some offers on some others and waiting to hear back.
