Pick anyone's brain who's willing to give you the time.

I'm coming across off-market opportunities and would love to pick your brain and see how you analyze and assess value.

I just want to connect and pick others' brains about real estate investing!

I will say from my own experience as a newbie myself, I feel like I have learned a lot in the last 8 months, but nothing has been more valuable then going to the local REIA meetings and networking with others and just picking their brain.

Since I've been in the Conforming loan world my whole life, financing 15 units is a new brain exercise for me.  

Reach out to others who have been successful in that area and pick their brains on their critical sucssess factors and what pitfalls to watch out for.  

Take your favorite Realtor out to lunch, pick their brain, and see if they can give you expired listings.

It may be good, I don't know, but it's no substitute for using your brain and figuring out things for yourself.  

After 3 years of being together, & due to job and location changes, we all have now operate individually, but still meet together for brain storming, strategy discussion and exchange ideas and deals.
