In order to fix the conveyance from 8 years ago, the Trustees need to execute in the correct capacity an appropriate deed (likely a confirmatory deed, but check your local customs) which spells out the error and fixes the problem.They should resolve this issue without forcing you to settle with them again. 

I'm involved with developers and builders via my day job - even those who are good and experienced  run into  multiple challenges that have to be resolved quickly.

@Kim Hopkins in a perfect world what they said is true.On the otherhand, read an online article last week about the "best" money manager that ONLY lost 4% this year, compated to average losses much higher than that.So, losses trump inflation concerns.

Then approach the owner to restructure the debt or let them do a DIL to you the new lender.They will get hit for forgiveness of debt but can be resolved with the help of their tax person or cpa.

After this is resolved, I will get a different agent.

This might go away (the situation I was involved in did) or might get resolved but it is likely to take months and months.

There are cheaper bluetooth compatible tracking tools available than Automatic, but the integration with IFTT is what makes it worth the extra money for me.
