Don't live in a house you're flipping.

Do you have any desire to live in the home (only relevant if your parents currently occupy the home)?

I used to live in that area and still know many home owners in Ventura, Ojai and Camarillo. 

@Roger MoralesI live in St Augustine, and the Jax market can be challenging, with insurance costs, the low cap rates, and the assets that are older.There are so many Southeast markets that would be favorable to invest in.

I lived in it for 2 years prior to turning it into a rental property.

I am looking out of the state I live in and having everything done remotely

(I have owned property for 1 year and tenant has lived here for about 8 years) I had a tenant move out and they left quite the mess.

And as I told the Auditor why would I go to Indy in Feb.. and look I have 10 loans on my books in Indy and I live in Oregon..

I am currently having an issue with my landlord, and when I searched for the answer the bigger pockets forum was the first to show up so I am posting my question from the perspective of the tentant, but also so when I do buy my first rental I have a better understanding of things.With that being said,I live in an SRO.

I've had clients say a neighborhood is unsafe based on the sites but they lived there for years with literally no problems.
