What you do should line up with the value lost to them in terms of time and inconvenience. 

These properties are very low value for most lenders.

For example, if they're going to be able to cover 75% of the entire value of the next property, they should have a much easier time getting approved for the remaining 25%... depending on what kind of asset the new property is.

I’d be willing to not make any money whilst renting out this property, but it will give me a place to live when I move out there, and I can always renovate and create more value if I want to rent it out or sell it in the future, but I likely won’t for many years.
