Your housing, food, car, etc.

My credit is poor, I have closed credit cards debt that equal $11,580 (from when I made bad choices), however, I keep my current 3 credit cards with no balance and my only monthly debt is rent, food, and utilities and necessities ($1700).

Would my partner being a majority holder help, or can I not sell to something I have an equity interest in?

In my experience, the only time you are going to be successful negotiating with a lien holder is when the property is under water and the lien holder needs to take a haircut for the property to transfer.
