Hello,Does anyone know if you can take a tax deduction for closing costs on the purchase of a rental property? 

I have a phone consult with a tax attorney cpa tomorrow, hoping to determine capital gains if we sell but wanted to get some thoughts first. 

You could partner with someone with experience and purchase something closer to home.

Once you know what the actual costs are, you can determine profitability.

I did purchase the course about a year ago but quite honestly it's just been sitting around collecting dust because I really didn't want to invest my time and energy into something like this that I wasn't 100% confident about.
