Jerry is correct that you have to be aware, but not concerned, of the possibility of a bankruptcy "claw back" as described in 11 U.S.C section 547 of the Bankruptcy Code for preferential transfers, if the transfer was made within 90 days earlier of the filing of a bankruptcy.

@Dain Caesar This saves me time and money while prospecting for more deals i call it the "google drive for dollars"I simply take a target zip code/street in my investment area and begin to use google maps to walk up the street using my mouse to zoom in on any property that may look distressed.

Don't educate your CPA to do their job.My CPA has real estate investments and owns the commercial building his office is in and rents out the other suites.He's also the type who get's his jollys off by reading tax codes at night. you can understand why I hired him
