Great job by the way on the Best Ever Podcast...been a listener for a few years and enjoy it.  ...oh, almost forgot, I am 3/4 way through the book you and Joe Fairless wrote and it is (I'm not exaggerating) in top 3 investing-related books I've read in past 20 years and probably best play-by-play instruction manual for exactly what I'm trying to do with Apartment Syndications.

@Joe Mende assuming each tenant's lease expires within the next year, ask the hard money lender if you can renovate as each tenant moves out. 

Now, I put the receipt in the correct category within a few days of when I get it, so I'm ready to go at tax time.If you know you will need some new tools or equipment to finish the work, keep your eyes peeled for sales, especially here on Labor Day weekend.
