Rates change often, even daily, so making sure you get quotes around the same time frame is also important if you are trying to judge them apples to apples.

Hi Andrew,that question seems like a very big bucket with no details.A lot goes into a bid-detail wise so without detail it seems an apples to oranges comparison.The reason I say that is:What kind of cabinets Plywood or chipboard, spray finished or the plastic coated kind, cabinet vendor also sells replacement doors for these cabinets?

I'll bet you an apple orchard most people don't have a clue why that is important.

@Raj Parwani be sure you are comparing apples to apples.

The ones that advertise on TV, drive fancy shiny wrapped vans and wear logo’ed shirts are catering to a higher end clientele ($$$$) versus the guy that drives the beat up pick-up truck but has done the job for 30 years.  

Add a cord cover on the TV so it looks a bit tidier.

A lot of Bay Area folk who moved out of area are having to come back to the office occasionally on their own dime, so there is definitely a niche for decent places to stay overnight near the big 3 (Apple/Google/Facebook).

Make sure your comparing apples to apples as much as possible. 

That way everyone would be putting in the exact same categories, and we could compare apples to apples!
