That can be corrected easily via confirmatory deed.If instead the wife was the executor of the estate to which this parcel actually passed, she should have obtained in writing a disclaimer from each heir who declined to accept the bequest.

The bill text in AB1482 states that the tenant has to agree to owners intent to occupy in writing if the lease was entered into on or after July 1, 2020.

The reality is the opposite - if it's not in writing then the PMC doesn't have to provide the service or can charge extra for it!

I would think if you ask the property owner (in writing), and they give you written permission, you would be ok.
