Newbie- Can one Air bnb a leased apartment?
Hello everyone!
Looking for some advice. I am trying to start up with investment properties. Initially I was looking buy a 4plex and rent the units out. Unfortunately- it turns out I am going to be living between Houston and Dallas for the next year. Until I get settled in one spot, I was considering getting apartments in both cities. The goal would be to lease them both for the year and Air bnb whichever one in which I would not be currently staying. Is something like this a possibility? Can I lease or do I have to own? How do I find apartment complexes willing to allow air bnb of the units? Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
