It wasn't even a particularly cold winter (in southern MI) but it just depends on the conditions, how the wind blows, etc- you never know which year is going to cause a problem.I'd consider having someone turn the system on in the spring also- it is a good time to check that all the heads are popping up and aimed properly and functioning, the freezing and thawing of the ground can make them move.

As an ex-adjuster, I have seen this policy in action, I would rather self insure the junker property and get robust liability policy.

These industries have little overhead in terms of capital expenses, so they can expand supply of their "products" without inflating prices.It's the manufacturing and durable goods creators who need to make step-function investments into factories, equipment and inventory to keep up with hyper-demand, and it's in these sectors that we tend to see the most inflation.In fact, in a purely service-based economy, there would be much lower inflation overall.
