I've investigated other places that charge less but they don't do as good of a job.

There is a big difference between being a cheap *** landlord and one that will let a blatant water intrusion issue like this continue and totally destroy the unit....you wont know until you investigate a little more.....

That is a huge reason that I am investing in Multi-family rentals.My question is, should she and I have separate BP accounts so she can hopefully learn on her own while investigating the site and networking with others or does anyone on here suggest that we have a shared account? 

Hey @Josh Foret, even if you go onto youtube and investigate how to do basic repairs around the house you'll be in a much better position than a person who hasn't a clue what it will take to actually do the work.
