16 years in one house shows a lot of stability, some people move around every few years or every other year, sometimes people stay because they have kids in the school district and they don't want to disrupt the stability for their kids or family.

I didn't need to start the renovation immediately, and since it was a family with a kid, I went with it.

We are looking to acquire property managers nationally and are exploring what the recommended channels would be. 

House hacking is the best way to begin, and I wish I knew about that at 20 before I got married and had kids, it would have given me a huge head start.

When I my kids had a nightmare I told them in envision the fix, step by baby step to make it happy, then do it. 

I explored the idea of forming an LLC, but we would both like to obtain a non-commercial loan to take advantage of lower down payments.

LOL just kidding, it's a great bldg, great location and you did a good job of boosting the rents.

Kidding aside, the midwest markets seem a bit more sustainable, the increases are more morderate and the values are still low.
