That no products or services will be pitched of any commercial offers will be made by those speaking or sponsoring the meet up.Otherwise, folks may see these invitations as a front for some guru stuff which many want to avoid.You can get enough bad information as it is without being pitched for services or products. :)

But I can understand that banks consider the property over valued as collateral if the buyer gets a 10k "repair allowance" at best and an invitation for fraud in any case.

I am far from knowing all there is to know, but can't help but feel like being a buyer here with a healthy budget is just an invitation to be signed up with realtors' MLS without them having to do much of anything until we find a property that makes sense after dozens of drivebys, rental market research, etc.
