You don't get that same vibe in Columbus at all (with some saying Columbus doesn't have as much identity/character as other cities because of all of the development that's taken place in recent years). 

A wire transfer costs around $20 within the US and $50 internationally and would require proof of identity plus IRS reporting of the transaction (if the US is involved).

This is fraud. 

If I was going to invest in small multi i would look for something like the brick fourplexes I grew up around in the suburbs of Minneapolis. 40 years later they look identical and equine almost zero maintenance.

@Marisa AlvarezI'll chime in here, based on my experience and what goes on in the "asset protection" market-place - in which there are: quality operations that have expertise and truly want to help you, and others that are just trying to "sell" as many of the identical (every "client" gets the exact same "structure" and a clerk just changes the names) legal documents, as possible.If you have a great history with your CPA and he's well-versed in LLC & tax, you'll probably do well to follow him on this.

Even with a non recourse deal as to payment there are guaranty's for standard carveouts and other bad acts ie fraud, misaapplication of insurance proceeds, rent securrity deposits etc.

Let's say Andy bought a house with 50% down ($100k house with $50k down) and I bought the identical house next door with 5% down ($5k down with $45k left as cash in the bank).
