I don't recall right now, but they (for instance) loan 10% of the value, but receive 50% of the equity above the initial value...if you do the IRR on it they're looking at 30%+ in a normal appreciation environment...which correlates loosely to what you are 'paying' in interest by using their product.

@Zachary GilesHey Zach, in a more generic environment I would say work your personal debts down, a la the debt snowball, to where your overall personal debt, including a mortgage, is either 43%, 40%, or 36%.
