It has the wood flooring aesthetic plus it adjusts for the slanting.

If I were to update it, I would focus on the following:Kitchen update (new countertops, cabinets, appliances)Bathroom 1 update (total gut)Bathroom 2 update (total gut)New flooring throughout (cheap vinyl vs nice hickory wood)Interior/Exterior paintNot sure which of these would have the highest resale value if I were to sell the place.

I have recently purchased several parcels of raw land that are heavily wooded.

So much so, that the wood is rotted and it is a support beam for the 2nd and 3rd floors. 

Not likely in my neck of the woods - huge shortage of housing. 

It's not snowed at all this winter (knock on wood).

Definitely address the kitchen cabinetry and remove/replace the outdoor wood deck/porch thing.

Hi, need to have vinyl plank installed over the old wood floors in my Gainesville rental.

The real work is with changing the layout of the kitchen somewhat to including opening up a wall to view the living room and removing two "notches" where the wall comes into the kitchen for the sole purpose of making room for the basement stairs that, for whatever reason, turn to the left halfway down and another for an old stove pipe from the original wood stove in the basement.
