@Brian Adams I enjoyed everything about this thread and your podcast.

I want to enjoy being a first time property owner (rentals) and not have to worry about all these additional fees on top of the fees that come with having a property management team, etc.I hear a lot about trust accounts.

I'm considering using a chrome book for mobility and to try an new experience (I enjoy technology and willing to explore new cell and tablets one day also).  

He claims to just really enjoy what he does and doesn't want to have to jump through hoops to get projects done and that it would take some of the appeal of what he does out of it.  

Right now there is no fence between two backyards and I, as a tenant, can not use the backyard and enjoy the summer time with my family and friends anymore.

Anecdotally, I know many millennials who have enjoyed city living for the last 10 years starting to shift toward St.

Also, he lied about 3rd floor tenant, said he had taken care of it but was trying to sneak her around the appraiser, eventually he did remove her and it was fine.I should have ran but I didn't because I was trying to make my first investment go through, and as weird as he was I just thought as soon as this sale is over I don't have to deal with his crap anymore and can fix the place UP and enjoy it.So money wise it's not a million dollar property, but it was to me, I don't make a lot of money and have lived way below my means for years, kept debt to a zero and saved and suffered for years to be able to put a proper downpayment on something like this.But I did pay for an inspection, paid my realitor fees, my bank fees, got an appraisal, title search, put notice on the place I was renting and moved out, all my belongings are in storage and now I have no place to live.

As much as I enjoy going down, this is a business for me, so I come second.I'm listing another unit now and it's on VRBO, this place stays booked and has great reviews.

@Lee MarstellerI've never cared for M$ Project ... used it for 20yrs, but have always found it cumbersome.Lately I've been using Merlin by Project Wizards on the Mac and am enjoying the experience.

We've been enjoying the discussion on various topics and learning a lot about investing.
