In your situation: if the numbers work and the rent supports the purchase price, then go for it.

Most banks won’t lend unless you have some skin in the game.

I do this with one lot where I will list several different house plans at different price points as long as the area will support it.If the road front lot and house are the least desirable then that would be a good lower price point option if you feel it's necessary.

I joined my broker for the flexibility to train, get support, and work outside of regular hours and joined a local team that supports that.

Its probably not alimony but child support. 

Their main argument is that Legal Zoom provides little to no customer support and that their fees are high.
