I'm new to biggerpockets.com and iv'e been watching bigger pockets podcasts since Feb 1, 2017, gathering information on investing in rental property.

Reading and watching the BP free course would be a good way to start.

So I called Loopnet's help phone number to report a scam on their site, and as soon as I gave them the address to report the lady hung up the phone on me.

I grew up watching my Dad rehab, flip and rent homes, so I've seen (and done) some of the grunt work, but I have yet to get my own skin in the game.On the flip side, my Mom has had a house that I've worked with a property manager to keep rented for the last 10 years or so.

A family I know, their grandmother (93y/o) recently fell and broke her hip. She is out of physical therapy and back...

If you are allowed to, pay for it one time to watch how the pros do it then just do it yourself from then on out, it's not rocket science and 100x cheaper.

While it's possible, if you've never organized the "dance of the renovation" before, and you're not there, and you have a controlling personality...That's a recipe for chaos.Just one lady's opinion.I wish you well.Stephanie
