They all have the same problem - they try to be national, they have no real expertise and their incentive Ian to just place money, they don’t give a crap when they lose your money (and they definitely will)

In syndication, one of the target bases is high income earning professionals (ex. doctors, lawyers, software engineers) that don't have the time, expertise, or desire to invest their own money. 

As counterintuitive as it might seem, I am not surprised to hear your different lower home values for certain sectors in SoCal vs NCal.
