We've been in the industry for a combined 8 yrs and love it!

I'd like to work with some of the more trusted people in my circle to develop a better understanding of the industry and narrow down exactly what my path in the real estate investing world will be, but even starting off I'd like to be more hands on. 

I'm new in RE and I have been learning as much as I can about wholesaling , now I'm looking into getting my feet wet in the industry!

I'm making a relatively large investment (1m+) in the restaurant Industry so most of my time will be focused on running my restaurants.I'd like to keep my investment low until I get my feet wet.

I think more RE investors should read your post and duplicate but it's the right way to make this industry work.

@Mike Landry, Except for the few inheritors of wealth just about everyone through history worked (you'd call it a W2 job now) for a living and built wealth by saving (spending less than they made) and slowly building their ability to invest (whether farm land in the agrarian age, manufacturing and commodities in the industrial age, or information proprietaries in the information age).  

My other business is internet based where I am not tied down and I am one of the top guys in the business in that industry. 

Tenant Cloud probably leads the industry in regards to power of accounting features. 

Community association insurance/law is a very specialized area and association boards need to ensure they are working with people who specialize in the industry.

I also completely agree with you about the business attitude which building relations with professionals in the industry.
