@Craig Hansen, as a real estate broker, I see this all too often, and while it doesn't make much sense (if you can show the #'s working for a buyer), the "stigma" of electric heat is burned into a New Englanders mind as something that can be dangerous (regardless of how well insulated you claim to have made the place).

Common causes are a nearby bbq grill, burning debris or leaves too close to the house, etc.

But SM and online networking/connecting has been such an amazing development....unleashes tons of kinetic investing energy.

You might also consider, if you have time to burn, digging through the case files for the foreclosure and trying to trace the threads to determine the current authority to sell the property.

Way too many people get burned in the end, seems like especially the shoppers.
